oh hey blog

so Cayla called me out on never updating this thing, but to be honest not much has happened in my life recently that is worth updating about. right now I'm sitting on the couch with tiny pebble while she is shivering even though she's wrapped up in a blanket. so far 2011 (all three days of it) has been aMaZiNg. remember when it was sO cOoL to type like tHaT? LoL. really now though, I have a feeling that 2011 is going to be even better than 2010, which was a pretty amazing year in itself. I also realized I have never posted a pic of our newest family member, bode.

look at that little man! isn't he precious, and he finally is beginning to warm up to me about 3 months after I got him. he's very soft and very cute and very smelly. 

I guess another important thing that has happened is yesterday was cayla's little baby's birthday. I say that just because it makes her uncomfortable, of course I'm talking about jonnie from the buried life.

it took me forever to find that picture. anyways, in honor of little jonnie & mostly because I really wanted cake, we created this:

if you're wondering, it was as delicious as it looks. yay jonnie penn, and yes we did say cheers while eating the cake. right now a commercial for that child fund program just came on the tv telling me all about hungry little kids in third world countries. they are sad commercials, but they always just remind me of the dane cook where he talks about magoogoo. classsic. alright, pebble & I are going to finish watching extreme makeover: home edition. she's getting teary-eyed already.

_edit: a few weeks after posting the pic of jonnie's bday cake to the buried life's facebook (oh come on, you'd do it too), I noticed a few people had liked it. in honest curiosity, I decided to find out who had liked it.

that is extremely small, but if you are so inclined to click on it to get a better and larger view, you will see that BEN liked the picture. along with a bunch of other people whose names I blurred out because I have no idea who they are. also, if you live under a rock, this is ben:

also obviously from tbl, dressed up as cristiano rinaldo when they tried to sneak into the playboy mansion, and is dating whitney port, who I think has the most unfortunate bikini body I've ever seen. but that's just an opinion.
